Eating too much food, combining incompatible foods or consuming foods with strong and unpleasant odor may cause nausea. Because such a problem can ruin your entire day, here are some quick remedies to get rid of it.
Beware of the food you eat
It would be great that for at least two hours after nausea occurs to avoid eating any food. If you can’t bear the hunger, choose only vegetable soups or white rice and in no case sweets or fats.
Also, beware of odors of any kind (even if it’s perfumes) because they can increase your discomfort.
Lemon juice is one of the best remedies when you have nausea. Squeeze a lemon and mix the resulting juice with a glass of water. Add a fresh mint leaf in this lemonade and drink it. In just a few moments you will feel much better.
Throw ups often lead to dehydration, so it is recommended to consume many liquids (water, teas, natural juices – do not even think of alcohol and acidic beverages).
Plain water with a slice of lemon or unsweetened mint tea are two very good choices.
A good rest is one of the best options when you have nausea. You’ll feel much better if you manage to sleep for at least an hour. Physical rest will help you recover fast, so postpone everything you have to do and take a break.
Pickles and generally sour foods are recommended when you feel like vomiting. Consume at least half a pickled cucumber or onion, especially if you are hungry and the options are quite limited. The results will come pretty fast.
